The German USP is the standard issue handgun of the German army (known as the P8 in the German military). It can come in either 9mm, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP. The USP is HK's answer to the Austrian Glock series of handguns as they are both light weight and are made mostly out of plastics. In Gunslinger Girl it is seen in the hands of some government agents.
